At Southern Steer Butcher Jacksonville, we believe in the power of community and the importance of coming together to support those in need. Recently, we organized a Giveback Weekend for a special local girl, Chloe, to help her and her family during a challenging time.
About Chloe
Chloe is an inspiring young girl who lights up every room she enters. Going into 4th grade, she is known for her humor, talent, and vibrant personality. In fact, Chloe’s talent won her school’s talent show! Despite her joyful spirit, she is currently facing a rare heart disease and is awaiting a heart transplant. Her placement on the 1A transplant list has brought hope to her family and community, as everyone remains optimistic about her journey to recovery.
The Giveback Weekend: Supporting Chloe’s Family
To lend a hand to Chloe’s family, Southern Steer Butcher Jacksonville hosted a Giveback Weekend, donating 10% of all sales to help cover the family’s expenses during this difficult time. Our customers’ overwhelming response and generosity turned this event into a meaningful display of community solidarity. By simply shopping with us, they became part of a collective effort to support a deserving family in need.

This Giveback Weekend was a shining example of how small actions can make a big difference. Teachers from SJCA first brought Chloe’s story to our attention, and we were inspired by her courage and resilience. We knew we had to step up to help alleviate some of the financial burdens her family faces. Seeing our community rally together to support Chloe reaffirmed our belief in the strength of collective kindness. Chloe has since received a heart transplant and is doing great!
