Try this amazing Hot Honey BBQ Chicken pizza using Southern Steer Butcher Hot Honey marinated chicken thighs!

Ingredients

 

  • 1 ball fresh pizza dough
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce, divided
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 Southern Steer Butcher hot honey marinated chicken breasts or thighs, grilled and chopped into bite sized pieces 
  • 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1-2 jalapeños, thinly sliced
  • Ranch dressing, for drizzling
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped

  1. Preheat the oven. Heat your oven to 450°F. If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats.
  2. Grill the chicken. Grill the hot honey marinated chicken over medium-high heat until fully cooked and nicely charred on both sides (165°F internal temperature). Let rest for a few minutes, then chop into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Prepare the dough. Roll or stretch the pizza dough into a 12-14 inch circle and place it on a pizza peel, pizza pan, or parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Build the pizza. Spread  or drizzle about 3/4 cup BBQ sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Top with mozzarella cheese, grilled hot honey chicken, sliced red onion, and jalapeño slices.
  5. Bake. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  6. Finish and serve. Remove from the oven and drizzle with the remaining BBQ sauce and ranch dressing. Sprinkle with freshly chopped cilantro, slice, and serve immediately.
